ABNc is a private, nationwide civil association dedicated to scientific and cultural development, operating on a non-profit basis. We recognize the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies as the highest associative entity in global neurosurgery, adopting and respecting its legislative and organizational criteria.
These missions highlight our commitment to advancing Neurosurgery both nationally and globally, promoting technical and scientific development and excellence in medical practice.
It is recommended that reading this book be accompanied by listening to the podcast "History of ABNC: Through the Eyes of Its Patrons," available on the Spotify streaming platform.
Due to some changes in the release order, the episode number may not correspond to the chair number of the patrons of the Brazilian Academy of Neurosurgery held by each interviewee.
At the beginning of each chapter, you will find a QR code that can be accessed to direct you to the respective podcast episode. This integration offers an enriching and immersive experience, allowing for a deeper understanding of the stories shared by the patrons of the Brazilian Academy of Neurosurgery.
